The building acoustics planning system

CadnaB Overview

CadnaB is the software to calculate airborne and impact sound transmission between rooms for an entire building including airborne sound transmission from and to the exterior via the façade walls. CadnaB has implemented the calculation methods ISO 12354 and DIN 4109.

  • Apply CadnaB to calculate airborne and impact sound transmission between rooms for an entire building including airborne sound transmission from and to the exterior via the façade walls.

  • CadnaB offers several manufacturer and literature databases supplying the acoustical data of the different building elements.

  • Calculation according to ISO 12354-2017 or DIN 4109.

  • CadnaB features interoperability with CadnaA and CadnaR. The integrated CadnaA/B/R software system is currently the only system that can calculate sound from an outside source through building structures into a room (and vice versa) as well as between different rooms.
