Overview of CadnaR for industry acoustics

Industry acoustics comprise a wide range of applications which are succesfully managed by CadnaR. From the simple determination of the noise impact at work spaces to the full assessment and improvement of a industrial hall, CadnaR has been especially designed for the particular requirements of any project. CadnaR includes the following industry-specific features:

  • Cutting-edge calculation methods: particle model, image source model, hybrid model and more. Fast calculation times thanks to innovative technologies such the support of NVIDIA’s CUDA API.

  • Input of sources as point, line, area or box shape,  with many options to define emission such as corrections, directivity, operating time and many more.

  • Easy import of emission data as .txt or .xlsx file, for example as sound power level (Lw). The data is stored in a database and can be shared across multiple projects or users.

  • Extensive possibilities for project organization with the Object Tree and the use of variants. This allows to handle and compare different planning scenarios and therefore allows to find a tailored acoustic concept to improve the situation in your specific project

  • Import of 3D directivities in CLF format, which is especially relevant for the calculation of loudspeakers used for PAGA systems in industrial environments.

  • Creation and handling of machine models of any degree of detail including tools to assign, calibrate and verify the sound power level of the acoustic machine according to several methods and guidelines.

  • Calculation of the noise dose at workplaces (dosimeter function)

  • Calculation at receivers, receiver chains, 2D-grids and even 3D-grids. CadnaR provides many automatically generated tables and diagrams and can export full reports to MS Office suite (.docx and .xlsx formats)

Organization of an industrial project by setting up different variants. This efficient workflow allows the fast comparison of scenarios with multiple measures against noise.

Calculation of the sound pressure level caused by the machinery at workplaces. The receivers are placed exactly at the workplace and represented by 3D Models. The machinery close to each work place is linked to the receiver and therefore the Emission Sound Pressure Level is applied.
