SET for Industrial Sources
In CadnaA version 4.2 you can automatically calculate frequency-dependant sound power levels from technical parameters.
You want to model an electric motor and you know its nominal power?
Or a fan, for which you know the volume flow and the pressure difference?
In CadnaA, you simply need to enter the parameters. CadnaA immediately calculates the sound power levels, with which you can go on with noise propagation calculations as usual.
The previous Option SET still exists. With this option, the database with SET modules is larger. Furthermore, it allows creating own SET modules and combining the modules to extensive technical systems.
Further New Features
In addition to SET, version 4.2 offers many new features. These include the possibility to edit object tables, an HTML-based help and an improved undo-function with 256 steps.
