Noise Mapping Austria
The strategic noise maps for all of Austria were calculated with CadnaA. more
Horizontal Noise Maps
In CadnaA noise maps are produced calculating the levels at points distributed on regular grids. These can follow the ground at a constant relative height or all the grid points have the same absolute height. The following noise map was calculated using a 10 m grid and shows the distribution of road traffic noise.
Noise maps can be combined using an extremely flexible strategy. With the command "grid arithmetic" any user defined expression with complete noise maps as operands is evaluated and produces a new map.
