With powerful acceleration techniques and refined algorithms CadnaA by far is the fastest software on the market if benchmarks are used with identical and controlled conditions.
For grid calculations, the areas with almost free sound propagation and only some screening or reflecting objects can be calculated much more faster than high-density areas with extended sources. Via the configuration therefore especially for the high-density areas settings relevant for the calculation speed of CadnaA can be optimized with respect to the actual job. This concerns e.g.:
