Calculation of Noise Levels at Building Facades
To determine and assess the noise impact in living areas the receiver points are distributed automatically at all floors evenly spaced and with adjustable distance from the facades. The calculation at each of these "facade points" is exactly the same as it is with defined receiver points or on grids.
The building level is calculated from all these facade levels using arithmetic or energetic averaging or selecting the maximum or the minimum level.
This building level is written as level day and level night (or Lden and Ln) into a circular symbol located inside the building.
In the 3D-special view, after calculation of the building noise levels, the facades are shown in colours according to the settings for the colour palette of the noise map.
