Calculation of Noise Levels
CadnaA calculates the noise levels at any location, at points arranged on horizontal or vertical grids or on grids envelopping all facades of buildings. For this calculation of sound propagation many
national and international standards can be selected. For some special sources like roads, railways and airports the acoustic emission quantities are calculated from the technical parameter values.
CadnaA offers a userfriendly and transparent method to select and apply a required calculation method. The geometry of all objects such as roads and railways is entered or imported. After selection of a certain standard the input windows of these objects show exactly the parameters that are needed with this method. It is not necessary to enter new objects if the calculation method is changed.
CadnaA calculates the noise levels
at predefined receiver positions (with results saved step by step for expertise work)
on horizontal or vertical grids (for noise maps)
on grids enveloping building facades (facade levels and building levels are saved)
