According to article 9 of the EC Directive the member states have to ensure that strategic noise maps and the action plans are made available and disseminated to the public. In addition, the EC Directive demands: "This information shall be clear, comprehensible and accessible."
To serve this purpose a publication on the internet is quite well suited. The export-option "Web-Bitmaps" of CadnaA generates for a calculated noise map all bitmap tiles for a specified scale automatically. Therefore noise maps easily can be presented via internet.
