Automatic Closing of Polygons
Within larger projects in most cases the geometric data of buildings and other objects are imported from other data sources. But especially in CAD drawings buildings are often not closed polygon lines but a heap of single lines separated by small gaps.
With the command "Close Polygons" CadnaA converts these lines automatically with a very powerful algorithm to closed polygons and recognizes these to be buildings.
This is even possible with a complex mesh of lines that represent complex buildings with enclosed backyards and any shape. It can be applied for single objects, for all objects in defined areas or for all objects.
